This is a special *BONUS* weekend edition of the Kris Pavone Show! I share some “behind the scenes” bloopers that never make it to the final, released episode. I also discuss the principle of being transparent with our content and “showing your work,” and why sometimes we need to practice ready, shoot, aim. Enjoy!

We know the things we are most passionate about in life. Your big dream; your big goal. But what about the other things that aren’t a career or something that generates income? What are your other passions that aren’t “as serious” but still help make your life whole? I talk about two very important ones in my life; my favorite sports team and model railroading.

Quote Of The Week:
“God doesn’t call the qualified he qualifies the called.”
We are ALL capable of doing great things through God, not just a select few. God qualifies the called, not the other way around.

What books do you like to read? How often do you read? DO you read? In this episode, I share some of the fantastic benefits of reading and how it’s enriched my life and continues to change it for the better. Some of my friends tell me that I’m a “life-long learner.” I want to keep that up and reading books is a great way to do so.

Quote Of The Week:
“Two things you need to know about God; there is one, and it isn’t you.”
I can do my part and let God run the entire show. He’s in charge anyway. Ever hand out scripts for the day of how things should go? What usually happens? People don’t follow it! Things don’t always go MY WAY or how I think they should. I cant control any of that. I’ll leave running the Universe to the one who’s qualified to do so.
Happy Wife, Happy Life:
We went out to dinner with some friends last weekend and had a wonderful time. Later that night it dawned on me; I’m friends with these people because of Rachael! Once I dug deeper, I realized there’s a lot of great people in my life that is a 100% direct result of Rachael being in my life!

It’s not the things we don’t know that holds us back; it’s the things that we think are true that just aren’t so. I call these old ideas. An old idea is a limiting belief that keeps us from going further in our journey. What limiting beliefs do you have that you need to get rid of? It could make all the difference.

Quote Of The Week:
“More people love you than you realize.”- Sara Anna Powers
My friend Sara Anna sent this in an email, and it made me smile. I know that I’m loved, but to think that there are more people that love me than I realize is pretty sweet. And pretty true.
Happy Wife, Happy Life:

Do you know the big goals you want to accomplish? If so, what is the big “why” behind it? Why do you want to live out that dream? Why do you want to hit that goal? If you have gotten stagnant or lost some desire towards it, taking a look at and reevaluating your big why can make a huge difference. That’s what this episode is all about.

Quote Of The Week:
“Good judgment comes from experience and experience comes from bad judgment.” -@TheZigZiglar
Boy if that isn’t true. One of the most valuable things we have for ourselves and to help others is our experience. I break down this quote and share some of my own stories.
Happy Wife, Happy Life:
The other day I left work, met my commitment at the gym to work out, came home to make dinner and had just enough time to get to my other commitment I had that evening. Except I was pressed for time because I needed to pick up my wife’s dry cleaning. She was at work, and couldn’t do it. So I did. And I didn’t complain about it to her. Even though I wanted to.
